 It all began in Lake Benton, MN. I grew up there, graduated from Lake Benton High School and still live there. I met Collin my senior year and decided he was the guy for me. We were married February 4.
I needed a job. With good luck of being part of the family that owned the radio station, I got a job at KLOH/KISD. I started as a sales person to sell radio advertising. Who knew it wasn't as easy as selling Girl Scout cookies! That job was not for me. I then started working nights babysitting the Audisk and dubbing commercials. That was fun driving back to Lake Benton at 2:00 am. An opening came available in the front office that worked out much better for me. After a few years I decided to take a break and be a stay at home mom. Finally, I went back to work and currently do the payroll, take care of the Wheeler Dealer and mow the large area of the Christensen Estates.
I have two active children Josh and Emily. They keep us going all the time. With a Freshman going to college and a 14 year old there's always something to do and places to go. And I can't forget my wonderful husband Collin, that has put up with me for 19 years. We finally went to Hawaii in April, 2005 and had a great time. Now I can't wait to go back!
My favorites include going to the beach (in Hawaii & Texas), golf, gardening, spending time with our families, and going to Canada and Texas for our family vacation. |
